Martin Arredondo brings over a decade of diverse healthcare experience spanning ambulatory and in-patient settings. Dedicated to making a meaningful impact behind the scenes, Martin is committed to ensuring that his efforts enhance the experiences of both patients and staff. As an Improvement Advisor within the Continuous Improvement Department at UCSF, he is focused on enhancing operational efficiency, quality, safety, and staff engagement.

Using Lean tools such as kaizens and 5S workshops and assisting in facilitating the Improvement Leadership Development Program (ILDP), Martin enjoys fostering partnerships between frontline staff and leadership. These collaborations drive and influence prioritized improvement efforts that align with the UCSF Health System’s True North goals.

Martin earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration and, after gaining several years of valuable professional experience, pursued further education by obtaining a Master’s in Health Care Administration. His approach combines education, thorough research, and collaborative strategies aimed at supporting UCSF’s mission — to be the best provider of healthcare services, the best place to work, and the best environment for teaching and research.
